XOS240 High Frequency Omni Sound Source
XOS240 is a
high-frequency spherical sound source newly developed by BSWA. This
omnidirectional sound source is equipped with 12 high-quality rubidium magnet
speakers, evenly distributed on a 180mm-diameter sphere. The axes of the 12
speakers are exactly at the same angle, forming a regular 12-sided structure.
Each speaker has been carefully selected, and they are connected in a
series-parallel manner to ensure consistent phase during operation. This
connection method also ensures that the impedance of the omnidirectional sound
source matches the output impedance of a general power amplifier. The combined
output sound power level of this product can exceed 120dB. The above design
enables this product to form a stable and powerful high-frequency spherical
radiation sound source.
XOS240 features rubber feet and mounting holes for the bracket, allowing it to be
placed independently on a horizontal surface or fixed to a dedicated bracket
through the mounting holes. Additionally, it is equipped with a stainless-steel
handle for the convenient transportation and carrying of the sound source.
Compared with ordinary omni sound sources, XOS240 can provide higher-frequency
non-directional sound signals. The directional index is ≤ ±3 dB in the frequency range of 2 kHz to 40 kHz, and the
directional index is ≤ ±2 dB below 5
kHz.
