TM004C Tapping Machine

TM004C tapping machine is the fifth-generation of standard tapping machine developed by BSWA for the measurement of sound insulation of building floors according to GB/T19889, GB/T 50121, ISO 140, ISO 717, ASTM E492 and ASTM E1007. Compare to former generation product TM004, the new tapping machine selected a 24V high torque DC planetary reducer motor, redesigned main control and remote-control circuit, which significantly improved the operation reliability.

TM004C has five in line hardened stainless steel hammers and the weight of each hammer is 500 g with diameter of 30 mm and separated by 100 mm to each other. The curvature radius of impact surface is 500 mm. The hammers impact sequence is 1-3-5-2-4 with a falling height of 40 mm and 100 ms between each hammer impact. The time between impact and lifting of each hammer less than 80 ms. The falling direction of the hammers is perpendicular to the test surface to within ±0.5°. Support feet of the tapping machine can be extended more than 100 mm away from the hammers in work position and retracted for transportation. The feet with rubber base are height adjustable that can be used to adjust falling height of hammers when working on uneven or soft ground. A bubble level mounted on the top helps to adjust the horizontal posture of tapping machine.

 

TM004C equipped with wireless remote control can operate even across building floor. TM004C is only weights 10.6 kg with black Metal shell to ensure easily transportation and packed in a strong and durable case for shipping. Delivered with 24VDC/2A power supply adaptor and wireless remote control (with 9V square battery).

Note 1: Falling height related to the support feet. The hammers can fall to 4 mm below the feet level only when the feet are adjusted to the lowest position.

Note 2: Remote control transmitting range and floor across tests by 315 MHz remote control in commercial and residential buildings of ordinary specifications.
