SPS980/SPT980 Microphone Array

Large microphone arrays are commonly used for noise source identification (NSI) and near-field acoustic holography (NAH). BSWA has launched microphone arrays with different structures, including linear, cross, planar, spiral, and irregular arrays, or customization.

SP series arrays are spiral structure arrays, including SPS490, SPS980 and SPT980. Use BSWA microphones type MPA201T and MPA416 / MPA436A as array units. MPA201T is 1/2” standard measurement microphone accords with IEC 61094 standard, the phase difference between array units less than 2°, suitable for measurement requires low base noise and high accuracy. MPA416 / MPA436A are 1/4” array microphone, the phase difference between array units less than 5°. The microphone array can be connected with analysis systems such as Mueller BBM Pak System, NI Multichannel System.

The array frame is manufactured with stainless steel, with strong rigidity and high reliability. The microphone signal output through standard Lemo socket cables, each signal cable connecting to 8 channels via one socket, wiring is compact and neat.

Features:

 ● Multiple microphone channels integrated via Lemo socket cable makes the measurement system concise

 ● Easy disassemble microphone connector

 ● The array can be installed on the tripod to adjust the measurement position

 ● Integrated frame made of light aluminum alloy and easy to handle that suitable for laboratory and field measurement

 ● Professional shipping case

Applications:

 ● Beamforming measurement

 ● Acoustic holography measurement
